Change your perspective of TIME

16 / 100

We perceive time as linear, and we experience time in the present. Yesterday is relegated to the past, and tomorrow is yet to materialize as it is in the future.

However, if time is the 4th dimension, it gives rise to the concept of Eternalism as opposed to the previously described Presentism.

When we wish to meet somebody, we need to give a reference in all 4 dimensions. Latitude, Longitude, Altitude, and Time—assuming I am open to meeting them anywhere in the Earth’s biosphere.

Ex: I will meet Sita at 74N, 85E, 2km above sea level at 12 PM GMT 1st Jan, 2100

Eternalism aligns with the Block Universe theory, which envisions the universe as a static four-dimensional block where all events are fixed and time does not ‘flow’ but is rather an illusion.
