Number stamp is one game that never bores anybody in a group and draws even the most reluctant introvert to participate in their individual capacity. A highly recommended team game that can easily be played both indoors or outdoors with a group of 10 people. All you need in terms of resources are a space of about 6′ x 6′ or more, about 40 – 50 cards 2″ x 2″ in size.
- Number the cards from 1 to 50 using a marker pen.
- place the cards within the designated space.
- The designated space can be a circle or a square or even a rectangle with boundaries clearly marked.
- Take care to see that the cards do not touch each other or lie very close to one another.
- Ask the team to stand around the designated space outside the marked boundaries.
- Start the timer.
- The mission of the team is to stamp each number in ascending order starting from 1 and go all the way to the last number. Each time a number is stamped, the person stamping the number must shout out the number loudly. A person can enter the designated space to stamp a number but must go out before the next number can be stamped.
- Any person can stamp any number, but each number can be stamped only once.
- The team needs to achieve the task in the shortest time possible.
- A team restarts from one when the umpire detects the following transgressions
- A number is stamped twice.
- A number gets skipped or missed.
- Two people stamp the same card twice.
- More than one person is inside the designated space at the same time.
